Therapist Profiles

Sarah Mann Shaw is a Dramatherapist registered with the HCPC. She is an Integrative Psychotherapist and a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, registered with the UKCP. She has been qualified and working as a therapist for over twenty years with experience in CAMHS teams, Social Care, Schools, Adult Mental Health, Foster and Adoption agencies.

Her approach is integrative, relational and creative. Sarah understands the therapeutic encounter as essentially a person-to-person one, underpinned by humanity and defined at all times by respect. It is the quality of the relationship that bears greatest significance in respect of successful outcomes in therapy. She has significant experience of working with systems and families and offers a collaborative approach in working with children and young people, believing the team around the child to be a significant agent for change.

Sarah has a passion for working creatively and for working with metaphor.
